Activities outside of the lessons

You will spend the mornings during the week with your Spanish classes, but in the afternoon and on the weekends we offer various activities.

Our spanish speaking guides would like to show you the Guatemalan Nature and the traditional culture.

We organize cooking classes to prepare authentic food like Chiles Rellenos, Dobladas, Tostadas and the famous Tortillas.

If you are interested you are also able to take salsa or merengue dancing classes (that will cost a little extra fee).

Activities within the lessons

One of the reasons to choose to study Spanish at Jardin de America Spanish School is the incredible beauty of the Lake Atitlan area, due to the scenery, the Mayan Culture and the Living Mayans.

At Jardin de America Spanish School we understand the learning process as a creative process, by making material available in different forms we make sure to provide an efficient teacher/student mechanism.

We try to design our lessons as creative and varied as possible. Table games, Spanish language movies (with subtitles), Spanish music and walks through the town of Panajachel change your Spanish lessons into a real experience.
